Many UK Employees Dissatisfied with Career Progression

A recent publication by CIPD, informed by survey responses from over 2000 employees in the UK, highlights that there is still much improvement required in the key areas of Skills and Career Progression.

The report revealed that a significant proportion - about one third - of UK employees are disappointed with their career progression.

Those responding to the survey cited poor careers advice as a significant reason stopping them from getting into the right jobs. Poor line management was also preventing many employees from getting on once in work.
